1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how the Lora website uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, and how you can control them.
It covers getlora.app, not the Lora mobile app. It does not cover the Lora mobile app, which doesn’t use cookies — how the app handles your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between pages or between visits — a preference you set, or the fact that you’ve seen a message before.
We also use technologies that work like cookies, such as pixels and local storage. Where this policy says “cookies,” it means all of these.
Cookies set by the site you’re visiting are called first-party. Cookies set by another company whose service is embedded in the site — an analytics or advertising provider — are called third-party.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
keep the website working and secure;
remember your cookie choices, so we don’t ask on every page;
understand how many people visit and which pages they find useful.
We do not use cookies to build a detailed profile of you as an individual, and the Lora website does not sell your personal information.
4. The cookies we use
We group cookies into two kinds: those the site needs to function, and those that only run if you agree.

These make the website work. They don’t track you, and you can’t turn them off through our banner, though you can block them in your browser at the cost of the site not working properly.

We don’t use analytics cookies without your consent.
We don’t set optional cookies before you’ve chosen.
We don’t sell the information these cookies collect.
We don’t currently run advertising or marketing cookies on the site.
The app itself uses no cookies at all.
6. How to control cookies
On our website:
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject the optional cookies.
If you’re in the EEA or the UK, none of the optional cookies run until you accept them. Elsewhere, you can still reject them through the same controls.
In your browser:
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site working. Guides for the common browsers:
Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each have cookie controls in their privacy or settings menus.
Opt-out preference signals:
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a request to reject optional cookies.
Analytics opt-out:
Google offers a browser add-on that switches off Google Analytics on every site, available from Google’s own tools page.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the cookies we use change. The “Last updated” date shows when we last revised it. If we add a new kind of optional cookie, we’ll ask for your consent before it runs.
